There are a huge number of benefits to joining the Certified Public Accountants Association, and there are a number of ways of becoming a member.

Associate (ACPA) membership is a full corporate grade of membership and is available through one of the routes detailed below*:

*Please note that all our routes to membership are subject to the applicant meeting our fit and proper test. All applicants must also be registered with all relevant regulatory authorities before they can be admitted as a member. All admitted applicants are required to abide by our Rules and By-Laws. Regardless of the basis for membership all applicants will have to submit copies of all relevant qualifications they hold and details of all relevant experience, evidence of holding a practising certificate with another professional body is not sufficient evidence, by its self, to support an application.

The Association offers four different types of membership based upon each applicant’s circumstances.

Each grade of membership offers different benefits tailored towards the member’s needs. The cost of joining the CPAA and taking advantage of the many member benefits, will vary depending on the membership type and the country in which you practice. Please click on the appropriate grade below for more information on what benefits are offered.

Practising Members can pay their fee in monthly instalments by direct debit. Members can enrol on the ‘CPAA Members Insurance Scheme’ for an additional cost to their membership fee, alternatively, Members can arrange their own Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII).
